What’s the Time, Mr Wolf?
Player must try to tag Mr Wolf before he can chase and catch them.
How To Play
Step 1.
One player is nominated "Mr Wolf" and stands facing away from the group, who are behind a start line 10-15m away. Mr Wolf is not allowed to turn around and see the other players
Step 2.
The group chant "What's the time, Mr Wolf?". Mr Wolf gives a time anywhere from 1 o'clock to 10 o'clock. The other players then take that number of steps towards Mr Wolf. If a player touches Mr Wolf, she wins 3 points and takes over as Mr Wolf.
Step 3.
if nobody has yet tagged Mr Wolf then Step 2 is repeated until Mr Wolf senses that some people are near enough for him to catch them. When that time comes and he is asked "What's the time, Mr Wolf?" the response is "Dinner Time!!"
Step 4.
Mr Wolf then turns and runs after the players and tries to tag as many as possible before they get back to the start line. Each tag scores one point. One of the players who make it to safety then take over as Mr Wolf.

Tips / Variations
This game is a variation on "Traffic Light".
This game teaches children about risk versus reward. Bigger steps will mean more chance to win the game, but they also increase the risk of being tagged at dinner time. Varying the points system around this makes players think about their tactics.
