Playground Pacman
(Also known as: Human Pacman)
Based on the famous computer game, players walk or run along marked lines being pursued by the Pacman. Add interest by placing treasure items along the lines to be collected.
How To Play
Step 1.
Create a large maze within a box shape using chalk (playground) or masking tape (hall). Include some dead ends. There should be no exits out of the box. Use some coloured cones or bean bags as treasure items of various values.
Step 2.
One player is the Pacman who must chase down all the others. The aim of the others is to avoid being caught and to collect treasure items on the way.
Step 3.
Set a time limit of about 2 minutes per game. On the whistle all players start to move and to avoid the Pacman. Pacman tried to catch each player as quickly as possible.
-
The surviving player who has collected the most treasure wins each game.
