Penalty Prize

(Also known as: Penalty Shootout)

Players take turns to shoot 5 penalties aiming to score a goal past the goalkeeper.

How To Play

  • Step 1.

    Mark out a goal and appoint a goalkeeper. The other players take turns to take 5 penalty shots from 12 yards.

  • The Winner

    Whomever scores most goals from from 5 shots wins. If there is a tie then "sudden death" rules apply - shots continue until one player misses.

  • Tips / Variations

    Football goals can be made from sticks, poles, tree trunks or just a pile of sweaters.
    Play in a succesion of rounds with the lowest scorer being eliminated after each round.
