Murder in the Dark
The lights go out and someone finds themselves dead. Whodunnit?
How To Play
Step 1.
You will need at least 6 players for this game to work. Switch off the lights. On the word, all the players go around the room shaking hands saying "Hello, how are you?"
Step 2.
As host you will nominate the murderer during these initial greetings by tickling their palm as you shake hands.
Step 3.
The murderer then chooses her victim and murders them also by tickling their palm when shaking hands. IMPORTANT - THE VICTIM MUST NOW SHAKE HANDS WITH AT LEAST 3 OTHERS PLAYERS BEFORE DRAMATICALLY FALLING DEAD.
Step 4.
When the murder is discovered, the lights are turned on the person nearest to the victim must decide who is the murderer and names them. If they are right, they win the game. If wrong, they are also dead and out of the game.
Step 5.
The lights go off again and Steps 2 & 3 are repeated until either someone correctly names the murderer, or the murderer kills off the whole group.
-
Either the person who correctly names the murderer, or the murderer herself if undiscovered to the end.

Tips / Variations
There are many variations on this game, but none work as well and as simply as this one. For adults, the darker the room, the better but for younger players use a dim light so that they don't get too spooked.
