Four on a Couch
(Also known as: The Couch Game)
Using your amazing memory, work to get four of your own team members on to The Couch.
How To Play
Step 1.
Select two team and identify them using bibs or coloured bands. Set out a ring of chairs, 4 of which are designated 'The Couch' (ideally a real couch) with one spare chair on the left side of it. Each player sits on a chair alternating between teams.
Step 2.
All players write their real name on scrap of paper which are then collected in and redistributed to the group to give everyone a new SECRET identity. (Note: If they happen to draw their own name it's ok.)
Step 3.
The objective of the game is to help to get 4 of your team members onto The Couch.
Step 4.
The player on The Couch with the empty chair to their left goes first and names a player, hoping that the person with this secret identity will be in their team. This person moves to the empty chair on The Couch.
Step 5.
The player who now has the empty chair on their left calls a name and the person with that secret identity moves to the vacant chair. Repeat this step until one team wins.
Step 6.
The person with the empty chair to their left then repeats Step 4 and this continues. Players must observe and try to memorise each players new name.
IMPORTANT: after each player is selected they cannot be named again until 3 turns have passed.-
The first team to place 4 of their members on The Couch wins the game.
