Crosswires

This game is a test of dexterity and coordination, and seems simple at first glance. It's just a matter of swapping hand positions. Surprisingly tricky!

How To Play

  • Step 1.

Players sit in a ring and the the host (who has been practicing hard) shows them what they have to do. First, grip your nose with your right hand and your right ear with your left hand.

  • Step 2.

Release both hands, clap your hands together then seize your nose with your left hand and you left ear with your right hand.

  • Step 3.

It's fun to challenge the whole group with this one and offer a reward if everyone completes the switch perfectly at the same time. If you want to find one winner then take turns at attempts until only one player remains.

  • The Winner

G&M Games are the winner on this one, indebted for this game to a lovely old party games book by Sid G. Hedges discovered in Ludlow Market.
