Corners, Please

(Also known as: 4 Corners)

When the music stops players choose a corner, one of which will be eliminated by the (bad) luck of the draw.

A good game for baby showers when their are lots of children around,

Step 1.
Designate four corners of the room or hall with a card or poster on any theme - colours, house teams, sports teams, etc.... anything you like. Prepare a card with each corner name on it and pop them into a hat or box.
Step 2.
When the music starts all players dance in the middle. When it stops each player must quickly choose a corner.
Step 3.
The host then asks someone to draw one card out of the hat. Players in the corner that matches the card drawn are out of the game and sit down.
Step 4.
Repeat Steps 2 & 3 until only 3 players remain. Reduce the corners and cards to 3 options only, then 2 for the next round.
When you get down to 2 corners and 2 players the winner of the next round wins the game.
Tips / Variations

An alternative version of the game (as seen in the video) is that one person stands in the middle with eyes blindfolded and counts to 10 while everyone else quietly moves to their corner. They then name the losing corner.
