Coastlines
An easy game testing the Geographical knowledge of contestants.
Players receive a set of cards or papers each containing a country. Their job is to arrange the countries in order of the longest length of coastline. if you want to be posh you could provide them with a sheet of paper numbered 1 to 5 or 1 to 10 on which to line up their selections. Two minutes allowed per 5 countries in play.
How To Play
Step 1.
Find a list of coastline lengths online. Select 5 or 10 countries and make a note of their rank.
Step 2.
Make up some cards or papers with your list of countries. Cut them out and make up a set for each player.
Step 3.
If you want to be posh you can also provide a sheet of paper with numbers 1 to 5 or 10 listed.
Step 4.
Allow the contestants 2 minutes per 5 country to arrange them in order of greatest coastline length. When the time is up, award players 5 points for exactly right positions and 2 points if one position out.
