British Bulldog
Two teams, one runs the width of the pitch while the others try to pick them up off the ground. Caution - this game can be rough, so care needs to be exercised!
How To Play
Step 1.
Divide up the players into 2 teams roughly equal in terms of overall size and speed. Decide on the playing field area, roughly 30m by 20m normally
Step 2.
The running team line up at one end, the defending team within the playing field. On the whistle, the running team attempt to run to the other end of the pitch.
Step 3.
The defending team try to grab as many of the runners as possible and lift them off the ground, at which point they are out of the game.
Step 4.
The teams switch roles. This process is be repeated until one team is eliminated, i.e all players are caught.

Tips / Variations
1. Decide on a number of turns for each team and the winners are the team which scores the highest number of eliminations.
2. Players who are caught and lifted join the other team.
OR
3. A gentler version (see video): Instead of picking up opponents, each player has a piece of cloth or a bib tucked into their waist band for opponents to try to grab as they run across.
