Beach Boule
(Also known as: Petanque)
Based on Boules or the French park game of Petanque, this is played on a beach using rocks. You can even play using crunched up balls of newspaper. Players take turns to toss their Boules at a target, scoring points for nearest.
How To Play
Step 1.
Each player must find 3 stones or pebbles of a similar colour different to other players.Also find one target rock or boulder
Step 2.
One player casts or places the target rock a small distance away. Players take turns to throw one of their pebbles as near as possible to the target.
Step 3.
When all stones have been cast, the nearest one wins a point. If that player's second and third stones are also nearer than any others then further points are scored.
Step 4.
Start a new round with a different player setting the target.

The first to reach an agreed total of 10, 20 or 30 points is the overall winner.
