Pat-Ball

For this game you will need to mark out a grid of at least 4 equal sized squares. Players bounce the ball towards each other randomly until someone fails to return it and is eliminated.

How To Play

  • Step 1.

You will need a fairly bouncy Tennis ball size ball and a grid of at least 4 squares about 2m square per box. One player occupies each box which is their home box.

  • Step 2.

Decide who goes first and this player has the ball. She bounces it on the floor and then, using a flat palm of the hand, pats the ball downwards so that it bounces in her home box and then towards another players box.

  • Step 3.

Either before it bounces in their box, or after a maximum of 1 bounce, the receiving player must similarly pat the ball down into their own box towards any other players box.

  • Step 4.

Repeat Step 2 & 3 until one player fails to return the ball or allows more than 1 bounce. This player is eliminated, together with their playing square (unless a new player enters).

  • The Winner

The last player remaining wins the game.

  • Tips / Variations
