Players attempt to eat a doughnut, but unfortunately it is attached to their toe with a piece of string.

How To Play

  • Step 1.

You will require an elevated rope or rail above head height to make this work.

  • Step 2.

Once you have the high level rail or rope, the contestant(s) sit and have a doughnut tied to a length of string which leads over the rail/rope and back down in front of them, BUT JUST OUT OF REACH WHEN THEIR LEG IS DOWN.

  • Step 3.

On the whistle the contestants attempt to eat the doughnut. But the fun part is that they will only be able to do so by raising their leg to at least waist height!

  • The Winner

The first contestant to eat the whole doughnut is victorious.

  • Tips / Variations

Slices of bread or toast can be used instead of doughnuts to keep costs down.

For younger kids simply attach the doughnuts to the rope or rail at head height and they must try to eat them without using hands (see photograph)
