Kiddy Kabbadi
Players in two teams take turns to enter their opponents zone while holding their breathe and try to tag an opponent and then escape without being caught.
How To Play
Step 1.
Players form two teams and stand a short distance apart and separate zones marked by cones or plastic bottles.
Step 2.
The first team sends a "raider" to enter their opponents zone while holding their breathe and try to tag an opponent and quickly escape to home zone.
Step 3.
However, to prove they are not breathing in they must continuously repeat the word "Kabbadi". If the held breath runs out then the turn is over.
Step 4.
As soon as (BUT NOT UNTIL) the raider touches an opponent, the defending team must try to catch the raider and stop them getting back home until they are out of breath.
Step 5.
If the player tags an opponent and escapes home she scores a point. If she is caught and runs out of breath the opponent scores.
-
When all players have had one or two turns the team with the most points wins.
Alternatively, if time allows, play up to 11 points. -
