Hide & Seek

(Also known as: Block)

One players gives the others time to hide and then seeks them out one by one. ("Sardines" is a better version of this game)

Surely the most popular and well-known game of all time??

How To Play

  • Step 1.

One player volunteers to be IT and covers her eyes and counts to 10 while everyone else hides.

  • Step 2.

After counting to 10, IT shouts "Coming ready or not" and begins the search for the other players.

  • Step 3.

That's about it really. "Block" is better. In Block, the located player races IT back to base and must touch base and shout "1,2,3 Block Myself" before IT can do similar but shouting "1,2,3 Block Adam".

  • The Winner

The winner is the last player to be found. How do you know you are last survivor? Probably when everyone else has gone home for dinner :-)

  • Tips / Variations

Our tip is to play "Sardines" instead, similar but more fun.
