Chinese Whispers
(Also known as: Grapevine)
Players take it in turns to write down a message of about 30 words. This is then passed through each player secretly until the last player who announces what she has heard. It will not be what you would expect.
How To Play
Step 1.
Players form a line or sit in away that they are close enough to speak into each others ears in whispers. A circle works well.
Step 2.
Each player writes down a short message of around 15-20 words.
Step 3.
Starting anywhere in the circle the first player reads their mesage to the second. The second then realys this to the third from memory. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THIS IS DONE VERY QUIETLY SO THAT NO OTHER PLAYER CAN HEAR.
Step 4.
When the message reaches the final player they must announce what they have been told. The first player then reads out what is written on their paper. Cue amazed laughter.

There is no winner in this game, but it does convey an important lesson in life, how gossip though the grapevine can become twisted and exaggerated beyond recognition!!
