Carrot Tail

(Also known as: Key Drop)

A carrot on a string forms a tail behind you. Try to lower it into a jam jar before the other player. Great relay race!

Step 1.
Two players are kitted out with tails made of string tied around their waist with a carrot tied on the end at knee height.
Step 2.
Stand the players 5m apart and place a jam jar each on the floor between them.
Step 3.
On the whistle, both players run to the jam jar, turn their back to it and try to be first to lower the carrot into the jar.
The first player to successfully lower their carrot fully into the jar. This game works well as a knockout where the winner goes through to the next round.
Tips / Variations

Use a large key on the end of the string instead of a carrot. Reduce the target to an empty wine bottle.
